Queen Sima is believed to have been the ruler of Kalingga Kingdom in the north of Central Java. The name "Kalingga" might have a relation with India.
It is said that Queen Sima was a very fair, just, and strong queen and her people were extremely honest.
The news about Kalingga arrived even to China, on the age of Tang Dynasty. The Emperor of China sent his envoys to Java to see if it's true.
In front f the envoys, Queen Sima gathered jewels and golds, then put them in a pot. The pot was put on the main street of the town and for three months, the pot stayed there, no one touched it.
One day, the Crown Prince accidentally kicked the pot and it fell to be crushed. The Queen said his son was guilty and he had to be punished.
